It had been two weeks since she’d made the decision to be with Liam and although they were constantly trying to stay away from paparazzi, it had been the best two weeks of her life. She’d rented a house not far from Savannah and Gabriel’s place. Going back to living at Heat wasn’t an option. Beside the fact that it wasn’t safe, it also wasn’t private property. Paparazzi could come and go as they pleased and she couldn’t do anything to really stop them. Renting somewhere else to stay had been the best option, especially when Liam returned the day after their talk to stay with her.

They spent a good portion of that time at the house, making it livable, but also getting to know each other better. Now that the big secret about her mother had been exposed, she found it far easier to be open with him. She wanted him to know the real her, which was not someone many people actually knew. Finley had spent so much time building a wall around herself, that she never really let anyone in besides Savannah and of course Elijah. Meeting Liam made her realize how lonely she was and that ultimately, she didn’t want to be alone anymore.

Rolling onto her side, she came face to face with the man that had shaken up her world. He was watching her with eyes that seemed to see far deeper into her soul than anyone else. The sheet she had pulled up to her chest, covered him from the waist down, leaving his broad shoulders and sculpted upper body bare for her viewing pleasure. Finley couldn’t get enough of him and had wasted very little time convincing him that since they were now officially a couple he should finally give her what she wanted.

“Hey, we’ve said a lot of hellos too,” he said a smile brightening up his face. “I know it sucks that you had to work while I was here and now I have to get back to work. We’ve got a month of location shoots to do and then I’ll be back in L.A. Weekend trips will be a lot easier with us both on the same coast…hell the same continent.”

“I know this is what I signed up for, it just sucks.”

Reaching out Liam tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek. “I know it sucks Fin. I wish I could stay or that you could come with me, but at least we’ll have all the wonders of modern technology at our disposal. I know it’s not the same thing, but video calls have done wonders for long distance relationships. Just ask Amy and Elijah.”

Finley sighed. “I guess it’ll have to work until you get back. Then maybe I can come down to see you.”

She could see the shock in his eyes as he propped himself up on his elbow. “Wait, you’d do that? I mean, I know you aren’t a fan of Los Angeles and I’m more than happy to come up here whenever I can.”

Nodding, she put her hand on his chest, her fingers brushing against the smattering of hair that dusted his pecs. After waking up with him every morning for the last two weeks, Finley realized that letting him go was going to be more difficult than she’d expected. She always thought she wouldn’t want someone taking up her space, but with Liam she wanted him as close as possible whenever possible.

“If we’re going to make this work, you can’t be the only one making sacrifices for our relationship. I want to start handing over the reins of Heat more and visiting you will be a good way of doing that. And I know you said you’d meet me halfway or wherever I wanted, but L.A. is where you live. You’ve been to my home; I should go to yours. And I want to meet your sister.”

She whispered that last part, afraid of what he might say. They hadn’t really talked about his sister much. All Finley knew was that when his parents died, he quit acting so he could move back to England to take care of her since she was still a minor. If it weren’t for Abby, he probably never would have made it back to the states, let alone tried his hand at acting again. Deciding to go to college at UCLA had been a big step for her and had changed both of their lives for the better. She met her husband there and being so close to the hub of the movie industry had helped him find the spark he’d had as a boy.

Finley felt like she needed to thank Abby for bringing him back. In the month she’d known Liam, her eyes had been opened. She saw herself a lot more clearly now than she ever had before and it was because of him. From day one, Liam had been able to see through her walls. She felt so comfortable with him that she didn’t have to pretend like she did with everyone else. She didn’t have to be tough or confident, she could just be her.

“Abby is dying to meet you too. I’m pretty sure I’m annoying the crap out of her with all of the talking about you I’ve done.”

  “You’ve told her about me?”

“Well yeah. I told her about you after the wedding. She’s the one who gave me the idea to call Elijah, which I did right away. If he hadn’t been on his honeymoon, I would have been here a lot sooner.”

“You told her about me after our one-night stand?”

Liam laughed. “You sound surprised, but I told you, I was taken with you the minute I saw you. Talking to you just fueled the fire and the rest of that night was the cherry on top. I was already a goner before I took your dress off.”

“Oh my god, please tell me you didn’t give her details.”

“Come on, we’re close, but we’re not that close. Despite the fact that she has two kids, I like to pretend that my sister is still an innocent, untouched virgin. I’d like her to think the same thing about me. I’m a monk, she’s a nun and those kids were dropped off by storks.”

Finley couldn’t help but laugh at the dead serious look on Liam’s face. She laughed so hard she had to wipe tears from her eyes and he just watched her like he had no idea why she was laughing.

Shaking her head, she tried to catch her breath. “Your poor sister.”

“She’s lucky they wouldn’t let me live in the dorms with her when she started college. As it was, I rented a house not far from campus and I’m not ashamed to admit I spent a lot of time in the quad. Now that I think back on it though, I’m surprised no one reported me for being a creepy old man. I just hung around trying to catch glimpses of my sister and who she was hanging out with.”

  “Seriously, you didn’t.”

“Oh I did. I kept up on all the parties and events and badgered her incessantly to find out if she had a date or a study group with a boy in it. I was ridiculous. It’s any wonder how she met and dated Jeff for over a year without me finding out. Then once I met him, I’m surprised he stuck around. The guy earned a huge amount of respect from me then.”

“I say again, your poor sister. I’m surprised she still talks to you after all of that.”

“I think she gets it. She’s nine years younger than me. Our parents died when she was 15 and she was too grief stricken to really do anything other than study and go to school. She didn’t really start living again until we moved to California. It was her first time in the states since they couldn’t afford to come see me when I was on Broadway. She wanted freedom and I didn’t want to lose someone else I loved. I was definitely a bit overbearing and I still can be, but she loves me anyway.”

“Alright, I take it back. Your sister is lucky to have you in her life.”

“We’re lucky to have each other. I know there are people who didn’t have someone looking out for them growing up. We had our parents and then each other.”

“I had Eli and his parents.”

“That’s not the same Finley, but I’m glad you had them when you did. But now you have me and I will be here for as long as you let me. I’ll be over-protective and crazy jealous. I’ll hold you when you’re upset and even when you want me to go away. And even though I promised to respect the fact that you hate being tickled, I won’t ever stop trying to tickle you.”

Finley squealed as she tried to get away from him. She was in no position to elbow him which had gotten her away from his roving fingers before. He caught her easily, with the sheet twisted around them, she had nowhere to go. Struggling, she rolled on to her back, taking him with her. Their eyes locked and her breath caught like it did every time they were this close, skin to skin, lips nearly touching. The tickling turning to a near tortuous ca
ress of her ribs as his hands moved ever so slowly to cup her breasts.

“Liam,” she moaned as he rolled her nipples between deft fingers. He knew how sensitive they were and how needy she was for attention. Her back arched off the bed when he took one turgid peak into his mouth; his tongue playfully flicking along either side of the barbell, before sucking on it greedily.

Wrapping her legs around his waist, she bucked up against his hardening cock. She was already slick as hell from the way he devoured her breasts. All she wanted was for him to slide home and fuck her until she was screaming his name. She ground against him some more so he’d get the message. Finally, he moved a hand down her stomach to the juncture of her thighs. When he swiped a finger between her slick folds she nearly screamed Hallelujah. Instead she thrust her hips up, hoping he would get the hint.

“Fuck your wet,” he groaned against her breast as he plunged two fingers into her.

“You do that to me Liam. Only you,” she said, grinding her teeth together, she bit back a moan as his fingers curled inside her.

When his fingers stopped their ministrations, she tried not to show him how much she missed it, but when he removed them all together, she couldn’t help but whimper. He smiled down at her, his eyes filled with the knowledge of how badly she wanted him. Sex had never been as amazing and soul shattering with anyone else as it was with Liam. Finley was no stranger to orgasms, but Liam made her feel so much more than just the body high. She wasn’t sure how she was going to live without it for the next month now that she’d become so addicted to him.

Liam Crawford was her drug of choice and she was an addict who never wanted to be sober again. She thrust her hips up again, hoping to come into contact with something she could grind against to relieve some of the ache she was feeling.

“Liam,” she said, trying her best not to sound like she was whining. Finley was too close to the edge. She needed him to take her over. Raising his head from her chest, he looked down at her, his pupils dilated, but said nothing.

“This has to last me a month, if not more. It better be good Mr. Crawford.”

He smiled. “I can’t believe your doubting how amazing we are together Ms. Blake. I’m hurt.”

With a wicked smile, she rolled them over so he was on his back and she was straddling his lap.

“I guess I better do something to make up for that,” she said as she guided his thick cock into her slick channel.

She groaned as she sank all the way down, his dick stretching her. The delicious fullness driving her crazy. There was nothing better than the feeling of Liam inside of her, nothing better than working each other to an earth-shattering release. She’d never say it out loud, but Liam had been made for her. He knew exactly what she liked and how to work her to the brink of orgasm before backing off so he could do it all over again. Finley loved that he took charge most of the time they were together, but on occasion he’d let her ride him hard and fast. Her experiences before Liam were usually the opposite because she never trusted anyone the way she trusted him.

“Are you just going to sit there or are you going to use me?”

Shaking her head, she looked down at Liam who was waiting for her to make a move. He was watching her, his hands on her hips. He was so breathtakingly gorgeous, she still struggled with the fact that he wanted to be with her. He could have his choice of nearly any woman in the world and he chose her. Placing her hands on his chest for leverage, she lifted herself nearly completely off his cock, then slowly slid back down.

After stilling for a moment to let the feeling of him sink in, Finley repeated the move over and over, until she couldn’t stop herself from picking up speed. Her pleasure was ramping up, she could feel it buzzing throughout her body. With every descent onto his cock, she got closer and closer to her orgasm.

  “Play with your tits Finley.”

Without hesitation, she palmed her breasts, the metal in her nipples cool against her skin. She tweaked her nipples, adding to her heightened arousal. Looking down, her eyes locked with Liam’s before he went back to watching what she was doing. His gaze darted from her breasts to her pussy where he could see himself each time she pushed onto her knees. She watched as he reached between them to caress her clit with his fingers. His touch was light at first, but then picked up in intensity. His manipulation of that bundle of nerves spurned her on until she was riding him fast and furiously, her orgasm finally within reach.

“Oh fuck, oh fuck,” she chanted as her muscles contracted, her body tensed. She ground against Liam until the ripples of pleasure passed and her body relaxed.

“My turn,” Liam announced before rolling them back over so he was once again on top. Finley squealed at the sudden movement then moaned as he pulled out then surged back in. His pace was just as fast and furious as hers had been. She could tell he’d been on the verge of his own orgasm when she’d finished hers. It wouldn’t be long before he found the finish line.

He reached between them again to play with her clit. Finley shook her head, the pleasure too intense for her after such a powerful release. But Liam didn’t stop, he never stopped, not until he rung every single orgasm he could out of her. Until him, she never knew it was possible to come so many times in one night let alone in one round of amazing sex.

“Come on Fin. Come for me baby. One more time…yes that’s it…Oh fuck….”

Finley’s body tensed again as she cried out his name. Within seconds he was crying out her name as he found his own release. He collapsed on top of her, his weight a delicious reminder of what they’d done.

“I know I need to move so I don’t crush you, but I don’t think I can,” he admitted.

“I totally know the feeling. I don’t think I could if I tried,” she said. “But you’re not crushing me. I like the way you feel on top of me. I like the way you feel inside of me. I wish you didn’t have to leave. I could get used to feeling like this.”

“I could get used to this too baby. Someday, I hope this will become a permanent thing, but not until you’re ready of course.”

For once in her life, Finley didn’t feel like she was going to hyperventilate at the thought of committing to someone. She wasn’t ready to voice it out loud, but someday wasn’t as far away as Liam probably thought it was. In such a short time, he’d opened her eyes to possibilities she’d never even thought of before. He’d already changed her life for the better, but someday he’d be the one she’d give that last piece of herself to and she honestly couldn’t wait.

  Chapter 8

  Finley

“It’s so great to see your face. I’ve missed you,” Finley said as soon as Liam appeared on her computer screen.

“I know. I’m sorry. We’ve been so busy and with the time difference, texting and emails have been the only option. I don’t want to wake you up in the middle of the night; especially since I can’t really talk long.”

Finley sighed. “I get it. I just wish we got to talk more than once a week. The rest is just so impersonal and brief.”

“It’s almost over, I promise. Production says we might even get to come home a little early if we can stay on track and the weather cooperates for the outdoor shoots. We’ll be doing night shoots next week, so my schedule will be a bit different which will make it easier to call you.”

“I’m going to cross my fingers things work out. The sooner you get back, the sooner I can come down and see you.”

Liam’s face lit up with a smile that made her heart race. The man was so gorgeous, even without the sexy beard he’d had when they first met, which he’d been forced to shave off for his newest role. She never got tired of looking at him, but when he smiled and the corners of his eyes crinkled, she’d never seen anything more amazing. She pulled her lower lip between her teeth, hoping to tamp down on the haze of lust that was slowly filling her body. It had been over a week since she’d seen him or heard his voice; over two weeks since they’d been in the same place.

  Long distance relation
ships officially sucked ass.

“So you’re still planning on coming down?” Liam asked excitedly.

“I’ve been shuffling things around. I promoted my manager and gave him more responsibility, which he was surprisingly excited about. I’m sure the significant pay raise helped,” she said. “I’ve been training him in the day to day stuff that I was always too much of a control freak to let anyone else touch. It’s been kind of a relief getting some of these things off of my plate.”

“That’s great babe. I’m happy for you. Maybe giving some of that stuff up will help make running Heat fun again. Feeling burnt out sucks, sometimes all you need is a break from the little things that pile up. Hopefully a trip down to see me will help make you feel better. We’ll have to start planning it as soon as I know for sure when we’ll be back.”

“I already feel much better just getting to see you. I’m really looking forward to seeing your home. Tell your sister she better free her schedule so we can hang out. Of course, that’ll be after I lock you in your house for a week to make up for lost time.”

“Finley,” he groaned. “I like the way you think. My hand has been getting a workout since I got here, it’s the only way I can fall asleep at night. But it’s not the same. I wish I could fly you over here so I could bury myself between your legs. This distance is fucking torture. I’ve never disliked my job as much as I do at the moment.”

Finley shifted in her chair. She tried rubbing her thighs together to ease the want that had been building in her since the moment the video call connected, but it didn’t really work. Since meeting Liam she’d become insatiable. The way he made her feel was like a drug and she hated having to give it up even for only a short time.

“So what else is going on over there?” he asked.

“N…n…nothing really,” Finley stumbled over her words. His question caught her off guard and broke her out of her increasingly dirty thoughts. “Ummm…I’ve spent some time mediating between Brooklyn and Declan. I went with Savannah to look at wedding dresses which was not my idea of fun at all.”
